Airedale Terrier

Posted by Zookeeper
The Airedale Terrier can weigh between 40 and 65 pounds, measuring 22 to 24 inches high at the withers. They have a lifespan of at least 11 years. This terrier has a medium length coat of fur that is wiry and harsh on the top with a softer undercoat. They have tan on their ears, legs and head with a black or mixture of black, gray and white on the saddle of their body. The coat usually lies straight and close to the body although some may appear a little wavy, which is undesirable according to AKC standards.
