What foods do I feed my rabbit?

One of the most important staples of your rabbit’s diet is hay. The young bunny can be fed alfalfa and graduate to grass, timothy and oat type hays. Hay is necessary for nutrition and digestion. Just be sure the hay looks and smells fresh. In addition to hay, there are numerous vegetables your rabbit will enjoy, besides the usual lettuce and carrots. You can find a full list of vegetables to provide your bunny at your nearest pet store. The other option is to consult your vet. Be sure you wash the veggies before giving them to your rabbit and feed your rabbit in small quantities. Remember to provide plenty of fresh water in the water bottle on a daily basis.
